BBN retracts article on Dmitri Rybolovlev
18.06.2012, 09:35BBN has retracted the article published on May 16, entitled: “Did Estonian banks lend 1.25 billion Kroons to Russian oligarch?” as it contained false claims about Dmitry Rybolovlev.
The assertion made in the article that Mr Rybolovlev sought a business loan from Estonian financial institutions is completely false and without any foundation whatsoever. Mr Rybolovlev has never approached any financial institution in Estonia seeking a loan.
The original of the article was a news item published in Postimees daily. Also Postimees has retracted the article and published an apology.
