State has collected 85% of annual planned tax revenue
07.11.2011, 14:30According to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, the tax revenue collected by the state budget amounted to 3.6 billion euros in the first ten months of this year, which forms 84.8% of the revenue planned for the year in the 2011 state budget.
The first ten months’ tax collection was by 7.3% higher than at the same time in 2010 and 8% higher than in 2009.
In October, 408.2 million euros of tax revenue was collected.
The social tax revenue amounted to 151.3 million euros in October, by 8.7% more than last year. In ten months, 85.6% of the planned revenue was collected.
Private individuals’ income tax collection was 36.3 million euros in October. In ten months, 81.1% of the annual plan has been collected.
Legal entities paid income tax of a total of 30.5 million euros in October. In ten months, 78.1% of the amount planned for the year has been collected.
125.3 million euros of value added tax was collected in October. 85.4% of the budget plan has been collected.
Excise tax collection amounted to 596.1 million euros in ten months, 84.7% of the budget plan. In October 59.9 million euros was collected.
