International Cricket Council gave EEK 600,000& for developing cricket in Estonia

Estonian cricket team who won the Eastern European Cricket Championships in Wales was accepted to the International Cricket Council. The council allocated EEK 600,000 for developing cricket in Estonia.

The team, which includes players with different nationalities living in Estonia, said they also hope on the contribution of Estonian Olympic Committee or the government, postimees.ee writes.

The aim is to attract younger Estonians and to develop cricket into a serious sport in Estonia, Australian Tim Heath, the captain of the team, said.
