Tax debts up by 7.2 million euros in a month
08.02.2012, 11:56According to the Estonian tax authority, the amount of tax owned to the state increased by 7.2 million euros in January and now stands at 379 million euros, writes Postimees.
VAT owed to the state amounted to about 4 million euros in the January tax debt, said the service.
All in all, 47,200 legal and natural persons have tax debts which his about 3,000 less than in December.
Of all tax debtors, about 16,000 owe between 10 and 50 euros, while about 1,000 legal and natural persons owe more than 62,000 euros.
About 30,000 natural persons owe the state a total of 32.5 million euros and 16,450 legal persons owe 346 million euros.
The tax board has signed debt payment schedules with 2,625 persons for the amount of 13.6 million euros.
