Peeter Rebane said that the centre is finished and the owners are happy with it. "We are pleased that we decided to use Merko Ehitus' proffessional team because if we hadn't then the quality of the building as well as the time it wasbuilt in  could have been influenced by the market turn. The cooperation between Solaris' development group and Merko Ehitus was fluid and ecause of this effort all of Tallinn's citizens can, starting from tomorrow, assess the centre with their own eyes," said Rebane.

Out of curiousity, is there a single high class shopping mall in Tallinn that's any good??

One good thing it already did is reduce the price of cinema tickets in Tallinn. Since there was virtually no competitor to Forum Cinemas, the new Cinnamon stepped in the near-monopoly cinema market with prices 25% lower than the Coca-Cola Plaza. And, whoa surprise, also Coca-Cola Plaza reduced to 90 EEK from the former 120 EEK which was ridiculously overpriced for Estonia!Overpriced anywhere, I'd say.

Besides that - it can be discussed if Estonia needed another shopping mall (because that's what it is, but they like to call it "free-time and lifestyle center"). My first impression was indeed good, something in there makes me like the place.

This name of Solaris is of course very sexy but what is this f**king place actually going to do in the sense of new business opportunities?
